As Samsung’s summer Unpacked event approaches, new leaks about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 continue to emerge. The latest leak suggests that the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra might not be limited to Samsung’s home market.
Rumors have been swirling about a second variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, codenamed Q6A. Initially thought to be an entry-level foldable, recent reports indicate it could actually be an “Ultra” model. Earlier speculation hinted that this Ultra version would be exclusive to South Korea.
However, according to a report from Android Headlines, it appears the premium foldable might also launch in another significant market: China. The report indicates that the Q6A codename has been linked with the model number SM-W9025 in a database.
Previously, leaks tied the Q6A codename to the model number SM-F958N, suggesting this new model number represents a variant of the Korean model.
This follows previous instances where the Fold series had different names in China; for example, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 was known as the Galaxy W24. As a result, speculation suggests that this Ultra model might be named the Galaxy W25 Ultra in China, with identical specifications to the Korean version.
While other rumors suggested the possibility of a “Galaxy Fold 6 Slim,” the source of this leak mentioned that the name is still undecided, leaving open the possibility that it could simply be another variant of the Ultra model.
